Tika Alidu Banuha is a first-year PhD student in English with a concentration in Rhetoric, Writing, and Linguistics. He is a Ghanaian and a professional English language educator, researcher, and author with extensive experience teaching English at the basic and secondary levels in Ghana. He holds a Bachelor of Education in Arts (English and History) from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana, and a Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics from Ohio University, Athens, Ohio. 

In addition to his teaching career, Tika is the author of Tika’s Series: Last Resort Concise English Language for Senior High Schools and Colleges, a textbook developed in alignment with Ghana’s Ministry of Education English Language curriculum for senior high schools. The book prepares students for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) by covering key topics frequently tested in the examination.
