In the Rhetoric, Writing, and Linguistics Concentration, students develop their particular interests and research agendas in the history of rhetoric, rhetorical and writing theory, critical theory, composition research and pedagogy, literacy studies, technical communication, socio-linguistics, and second language acquisition.

The program encourages interdisciplinary perspectives that make connections with other areas of English studies.
