October 2nd, 2024: Career Conversation: Careers in the Gaming Industry
Are you passionate about gaming and interested in turning that passion into a career? Join us for a career conversation dedicated to students eager to break into the gaming industry!
October 9th, 2024: Grad School Prep Month: Graduate School Admissions 101
If your career goals include earning a graduate degree, this workshop will help you get started. Learn the basics of the graduate school admissions process including types of degrees, navigating timelines, how to find programs, parts of the application, and preparation guidelines. Leave with resources to assist with next steps.
October 10th, 2024: MFA Application Roundtable
Thinking about applying to an MFA in Creative Writing? Join a panel of professors and current graduate students to learn more about the ins and outs of the process including researching schools, preparing your writing portfolio, writing a statement of purpose, and more!
October 16th, 2024: Humanities Alumni Panel
The goal of this experience is to provide an opportunity for the division of humanities students to hear from alumni that are currently working in the field pertaining to their different majors.
October 16th, 2024: UTK English to Hold Roundtable on Careers in Publishing
Join University of Tennessee English alumni Sierra Swanson and Leah Rang and other publishing professionals, including Katie Hannah and Kanika Lawton, for a roundtable discussion on careers in publishing including types of publishing jobs, internships in publishing, how to prepare for the job market, and more.
