Noah is a 2nd year, part-time MA student in the English Department studying in literature, criticism, and textual studies, who also serves as a full-time academic advisor in the Tickle College of Engineering. Noah is originally from Columbus, OH, where he got his BA in English from Ohio State University with honors for his undergraduate thesis on the work of Japanese author Haruki Murakami in translation and trauma narratives. Noah also received his Master of Education from Indiana University and has worked in higher education for over a decade across the country. Noah is heavily involved with the online book community called Book Oblivion, studying literature and philosophy while tackling challenging texts and ideas through a semi-spiritual lens. Noah’s interests range in time and space, and plans to pursue a PhD in English Literature. He enjoys film and television, challenging books, cooking, and spending time with his poet husband Ben.
