Izzy Herring
Teaching Associate
Izzy Herring is a second-year MA student studying 19th Century American Literature. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of West Georgia with a major in English and a minor in Women’s Studies. Her research interests include Southern women writers of the 19th century, Critical Race Theory, and Gender and Sexuality studies. Her current research applies an ecocritcal lens to the fiction of Jessmyn Ward and Eudora Welty.
