Distinguished Lecturer
Dr. Robin Gray Nicks teaches a variety of courses ranging from first-year writing courses to Women in American Literature to Rhetoric and Writing. She has also mentored students in their Chancellor’s Honors capstone projects and submissions to undergraduate research journals when the subject matter has been related to issues of gender or rhetoric more broadly. Recent scholarly and teaching interests include children’s and young adult literature and culture and the impact of Girl Scouts in the US. She has participated in the Summer Research Institutes through the University of Antwerp in the Children’s Literature Summer School and presented at several regional and national conferences.
