Research Interests: Medieval Literature, Masculinity, Trans/Queer Theory, Trauma Studies, Arthurian Literature, Folklore and Legends, Old French, Old English
Nico Houser (he/him) is a first-year MA student in literature, criticism, and textual studies. He earned a BA in both English and Criminal Justice, alongside a minor in Sociology, from the University of Georgia. He focuses on medieval literature and trans theory, particularly enjoying chivalric romances and Old English literature. Aside from academics, he loves studying filmography and the nature of horror in media, a wide variety of video and tabletop games, pleasure reading, collecting comic books, and writing.
