McKayla Okoniewski is an MA student and teaching assistant in the English Department at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She received her bachelor’s degree in Writing and Rhetoric and Medieval European studies from Hobart and William Smith Colleges before working in the University of Rochester’s Writing and Speaking Center. She is currently studying Indigenous rhetorics and rhetorics on social media platforms. She spends most of her time outside of the classroom spoiling her cat, Luna.
