Research Interests: Place Theory/Geocriticism, Appalachian Literature and Culture, American Religious Culture
Elliott is a first-year MA student in literature with a focus in modern and postmodern American literature. He earned his BA in literature from Lee University and taught high school in his hometown of LaFollette before attending the University of Tennessee. When Elliott isn’t studying, he enjoys fantasy and sci-fi novels, folk music, and the Appalachian Mountains.
