Research Interests: Religious rhetorics, cultural rhetorics, first-year studies and transfer
Ayesha Ahmed is an MA student in English Rhetoric at UTK. She enjoys teaching English 101 and making rhetorical strategies fun and transferrable for all. She is passionate about uplifting Muslim women and is currently studying the intersection of religious and cultural rhetorics to prepare her thesis focusing on Muslim women and their relationship to the Hijab. When she’s not teaching or working on her thesis, she enjoys bad puns, cooking, baking, working out, and experimenting with fashion and makeup.
