Alexandra Persad grew up in a small, art-loving town in the eastern panhandle of West Virginia. She studied English at West Virginia University and has since called several other wonderful states home. Her fiction has been nominated for the Best of the Net and Pushcart Prizes and appears in Potomac Review, Half and One, Glint Literary Journal, BlazeVOX, Barren Magazine, and others. When she’s not reading or writing, she can be found drinking copious amounts of coffee or hanging out with her cat, Jasper.
