Kaleb Atkinson, originally from Louisiana, is a first year MA student in the Literature, Criticism, and Textual Studies program. He is interested in the common spaces of Literature and Science, specifically how their contexts communicate with each other and broader audiences. Kaleb is fascinated by both of these disciplines as they seek to understand, build upon, and break away from their traditions in the hopes of evolution and continuance.

Kaleb worked in his undergraduate’s writing center–the Learning Commons–for four years and is excited to continue his training and work at the Judith Anderson Herbert Writing Center. When not reading about the latest scientific breakthrough or combing through texts for any scientific framework, you can find him writing poetry, stargazing, or watching whatever Sci-Fi film he randomly selected from the carousel.
