Laurie Knox
Senior Lecturer
Laurie Knox is a senior lecturer in the English Department at the University of Tennessee, specializing in ESL, academic scientific writing, and writing for the workplace. Her passion is creating educational materials and experiences that foster active engagement and the transfer of learning across domains. She also loves coaching writers one on one and is grateful for the many opportunities she has had over her two decades as a tutor in Judith Herbert Anderson Writing Center to help students find their voices on the page. She has taught in many states and countries, including Georgia, Oklahoma, Indiana, Oregon, Mexico, Germany, and China.
