Laura Hoffer specializes in fiction writing, earning her Ph.D. in English and Creative Writing at The University of Tennessee. Place inspires much of her own writing, and her literary scholarship interests include 20th and 21st century Southern U.S. and Latin American literature. She teaches creative writing classes in fiction and nonfiction, as well as literature and composition courses.
