Bridget Mackie

Teaching Assistant

Research Interests: Medieval literature, feminist theory, women writers, Old English poetry, mysticism

Bridget Mackie is an MA student in Literature, Criticism, and Textual Studies program. She is originally from Raleigh, NC. She earned her BA in English from Emory University. Her research interests focus on medieval studies with a particular interest in medieval women mystics, textile studies, Old English poetry, and feminist/gender studies. Besides academics, she is an avid knitter and hiker and looks forward to getting to know the local Knoxville craft and outdoor communities.
