Tega Oghenechovwen’s work has appeared in The Kenyon Review, Joyland, The Rumpus, Ruminate Magazine and elsewhere. He has received support from The Caine Prize for African Literature, Tin House, Kimbilio, the Elizabeth George Foundation, The Key West Literary Seminar, and most recently from Phillips Exeter Academy, New Hampshire, where he was the 2025-2026 George Bennett Fellow. Tega Oghenechovwen has an MFA in creative writing (Fiction) from the University of Maryland, College Park, and an MA in Literature-in-English from the University of Jos, Nigeria.
