NFL Player Wade Davis to Speak on “Overcoming Homophobia in American Sports,”

On Monday, 3/5, NFL player Wade Davis will be speak about “Overcoming Homophobia in American Sports,” at 5:30pm, in the Ula Love Doughty Carousel Theatre.  In 2012, Davis came out and publicly spoke about what it was like to be closeted and gay in the National Football League.  Since then, he has been an advocate for inclusion in American sports.  There will be a Q & A with Davis after his talk.
