Blackout Poetry at the Golden Roast

On Wednesday, September 13th, there will be a “Blackout Poetry” event at the Golden Roast Café right off of campus, from 7 to 8pm . Blackout Poetry is created by keeping select words from an existing texts, such as a newspaper, and “blacking out” the other words on the page.

People from all walks of life can come together and get their creative nature on through writing and reading poetry, or just relax and listen to others share their creative natures.

The Golden Roast is located at 825 Melrose Place.

The flagship campus of the University of Tennessee System and partner in the Tennessee Transfer Pathway.
